D1220×22mm Heavy Wall Spiral Pipe Mill: First Pipe Produced in 75 Days

Recently, the 1220×24 mm thick-walled spiral welded pipe production line, manufactured by Huaye Heavy Industry, successfully completed installation and commissioning and produced its first qualified steel pipe, marking a significant milestone in the project.

*Strip width: 750-1550 mm
*Pipe diameter range: Φ406-1220 mm
*Wall thickness range: 6-22 mm
* Pipe Length: 8-13.2 m
Since receiving the customer’s advance payment and the contract’s formal entry into force at the end of March, this project promptly commenced production. In response to the tight schedule, all departments within the company collaborated efficiently and organized production in a scientifically sound manner, ensuring seamless coordination and orderly progress across every stage—from conceptual design and equipment fabrication to component machining, assembly and commissioning, and on-site installation. Thanks to the concerted efforts of the entire project team, the first steel pipe was successfully rolled off the production line in just two and a half months.
