Recently, Taiyuan Huaye Heavy Industry successfully completed the installation and on-site commissioning of a Φ820 spiral welded pipe production line supplied to a Malaysian customer, and has produced qualified spiral welded pipes. At present, the entire production line is operating stably, with smooth coordination among all process stages, and the site is already piled high with newly manufactured steel pipes, marking the official transition of the project into the stable production phase.

From uncoiling and leveling the steel strip, to edge milling, helical forming, internal and external submerged-arc welding, and fixed-length flying shear cutting, through to subsequent pipe handling and finishing, the entire spiral welded pipe production line achieves efficient coordination across all process stages. Following on-site commissioning and parameter optimization, the equipment is now capable of stable, continuous operation, fully meeting the customer’s requirements for production efficiency, weld quality, and equipment reliability.

On site, newly manufactured spiral welded pipes are neatly stacked, vividly illustrating the entire process—from “installation completion” to “actual production launch.” For a spiral welded pipe production line, successfully producing pipes is only the first step; the true measure of equipment manufacturing and project delivery capabilities lies in achieving long-term, stable, and efficient operation, while consistently producing steel pipes that meet specified requirements.

The successful commissioning of this Φ820 spiral welded pipe production line in Malaysia once again demonstrates the reliability of Huaye Heavy Industry’s spiral welded pipe equipment and its robust on-site service capabilities.
