Completion of Uzbekistan's Steel Drum Spiral Pipe Mill_ Enters Operation

This is our newly commissioned spiral welded pipe equipment in Uzbekistan. It’s a specialized type of spiral pipe production line designed for manufacturing short-length pipes. These steel drums are used as inner cores for aluminum or steel coils, replacing the environmentally unfriendly paper cores. This type of steel drum has stringent surface requirements—weld seams must not protrude above the base material—and therefore is equipped with a weld-bead grinding machine for surface finishing. The equipment features advanced technology, reliable performance, a well-established process, and mature production capabilities.

Board width: 350–750 mm
Pipe diameter: Φ219–Φ508 mm
Wall thickness: 3–6 mm
The successful commissioning and smooth production of spiral welded pipe from the Uz pipe mill unit mark yet another significant breakthrough for China in the fields of high-end welded pipe equipment manufacturing and international technology export. During the commissioning process, the technical team overcame multiple challenges—including language barriers, environmental adaptation, and alignment with international technical standards—ensuring that the unit could operate efficiently and reliably, smoothly producing spiral short pipes that meet international standards.
